The NRA Basic CCW Class is ideal starting point if you want to carry a concealed firearm for personal protection. Designed for anyone, regardless of NRA affiliation or shooting expertise. This course covers the fessential knowledge, skills, and mindset required to carry a concealed handgun safely and confidently.

What the NRA Basic CCW Class Will Teach You

The Basic CCW Course begins in a classroom and continues on a shooting range. An NRA-certified instructor will provide hands-on instruction regardless of your level of experience as a shooter. Depending on the schedule that would be most convenient for you, the class can last one day or split into several days.

This course addresses fundamental topics including:

• Firearm safety (a must for every gun owner)
• Pistol parts and choosing the right pistol for self-defense
• Basic defensive pistol skills, including drawing from concealment
• How to handle stoppages and reloads
• Proper mindset for concealed carry
• Different carry methods and how to conceal your pistol effectively
• Firearm cleaning and maintenance

Why Take the Concealed Carry Weapons class with us?

Alng with learning the fundamentals of defensive shooting, you will also complete a nationally standardized shooting qualification under an NRA-certified instructor. You will take an exam upon course completion and get a certificate signed by your teacher and NRA Secretary.
